Student Trustee, Nyameer Gony, receives Air Canada Fan Flight

| OCSB Accomplishments

Air Canada and the Ottawa Senators have recognized Nyameer Gony, a Grade 12 Ottawa Catholic School Board student, with an Air Canada Fan Flight for her outstanding leadership in our community. 

Nyameer is an OCSB Student Trustee and founder of the first Black Student Association at St. Pius X High School. She truly has made a difference within her school and community, inspiring her peers and educators along the way. 

Watch this heartwarming video to see her reaction as she receives a free return flight for her and her family to anywhere Air Canada flies in North America, six tickets to an Ottawa Senators game and a Sens jersey with her name on it!
