Canada has been ranked the best country in the world in the 2021 Best Countries Report, an analytical study conducted by U.S. News & World Report. This is the first time Canada has claimed the top spot and we are very proud!

How does the report determine rankings?

Highlighted in the report is that Canada ranked first in sub-rankings, gaining a notable score of 100 in the categories of “Quality Of Life” and “Social Purpose”, meaning that Canada is seen as a stable and safe society in which individuals and business can prosper, and is open, fair and equitable.

The 2021 report evaluated 79 nations worldwide using 76 different attributes and considers how countries are perceived and their economics, quality of life, adventure and quality of education.

Canada has a perfect score for Quality Of Life

The category for “Quality Of Life” is determined by a few factors; a good job market, affordable, economic stability, family-friendly, income equality, political stability, safety, well-developed public health and education system. Canada received a perfect score of 100 in this category and for our “Social Purpose” which considers equality, social justice, religious freedom and care for society and the environment.
